Description Engine #10 is a “DM10” Class Switch Engine that was built by the Davenport Locomotive Works of Davenport, Iowa in 1927. The “10” in its designation stems from it weighing in at 10 tons. The Locomotive spent the entirety of its working life on the North Florida Railway as their #2 before it ended up at the Georgia State Railroad Museum in Savannah. Today the Locomotive is used primarily to shuffle equipment around the property. Video from my 2024 visit: youtu.be/Wy4L-r6fzlg
