This is so awesome. At first I thought it was a photograph, and was convinced of it until I saw it was categorized under digital art. Beautiful work.

Gorgeous work, cleverly done and from the thumb looks like a photo. I love the small strokes you've used, the perfect chose of colours and the great impression of light. Very realistic yet still dignified as a pure painting. The thing that astounds me is this was from memory and yet you have got the lighting spot on...I definitely could not do that!

awwww thanks so much. It was painted with a fine liner in layers in Thomas Kinkade style, where the light is the first layer and that layer bleeds through the to the layers above it. Of course Kinkade is capable of doing this on a real physical medium, which is astonishing. This took me about three weeks.
