Description Today I've bought myself a very awesome album,,, again

Well, I already have the normal version of "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" by the awesome black metal-band Mayhem, but it's the 2nd pressing with a booklet and a purple castle on the front.
Today I was in town and found this one; "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas", the 1st copies!!
They are so cool in collection-views! It's the first version of the album, with a blue castle on the front, a softer logo and no song titles on the back, and no booklet inside!!

Can ya guess how happy I am? I have two versions of the most awesome album of black metal!!!!!

Looks awesome! Although I can't say anything about the album since I'm not into black metal that much. The only stuff I've listened to is the first wave with bands like Mercyful Fate and Venom. The only "real" black metal I've looked up is Dimmu Borgir. But my favorite black metal album is probably Mercyful Fate's debut Melissa. But I don't own albums from any other black metal band and I don't think even they can be called pure black metal.

You should absolutly listen to Mayhem, it's one of the best!
Listen to this one: [link]
This isn't the studio version, this is a version with their former singer Dead, who shot himself in the head. And when the other band members found the body, they took pictures of the body and used it as an album cover: [link]
I have this album shown on the wallpaper, both the first press and the second

It's an OK song but for me it has the same problem that most black metal songs do. It just sort of seems to lack the catchiness and the melodies that for example hard rock and heavy metal have. That's why I love Mercyful Fate, they drew inspiration from classic metal.
And I remember seeing that album cover before. It's a classic, just like that one cover by Burzum with the picture of a burnt down church. But I think that's pretty damn messed up, taking a picture of your friend who has just shot himself. It makes for a cool album cover but still.

Yeah, I get what you mean. But I can hear alot of melodies in black metal as well, nothing like "Rapid Fire" or "2 Minutes To Midnight", but still there is a melody and especially "Freezing Moon" has a melody which you can sing-along to ^_^
Haha yeah, the "Aske"-album, so funny! He put in a zipper inside some albums to make other people burn churches too some friends of mine will go and vandalise a church someday they told me
Yeah, it's messed up, but well.. they're not affraid of death, they are saluting death or what to say, ya know listen to the Euronymous-radio interview on youtube: [link]
It's in subtitles too
