My mascot and favorite Pokemon, the walking mechanic in HGSS made it so easy to get attached to pokemon compared to every other game, so the pokemon i walked around with the most naturally became my favorite, despite not being my first (that would be Chimchar in Platinum)To this day i can't bring myself to give nicknames to any Typhlosion i use, since my first Typhlosion didn't have a nickname
