Description
This is the cover illustration for a chapbook we're doing for the fantastic Frank Duffy. The short story is about a magazine that pays horror authors for fiction. If the horror authors don't deliver, they disappear. It's a creepy story, and in it, the author describes the cover as a pen and ink illustration of a man working at a typewriter while a shadowy figure lurks behind him. As soon as I read "ink", I knew I had to give this a shot.Pen and Ink

This reminds me of something from, "Tales From The Darkside". I like the monkey in the foreground, is that from Stephen King's, "The Monkey"?

The monkey in here with the symbols...by any chanced taken from a film with a similar monkey, where every time it's symbols clash something baaaaad happens? If so PLEASE tell me the film's name, been trying to remember for years!
