the first panel is an awesome piece on it's own. Nice work.

This is great.
I was just wondering what pencil and lead you use, I know a lot of artists say its not important.
But no matter what I use or how sharp I get it, I just can't get my lines to look as sharp and clean as yours.
Any advice?

I tend to like a hard lead anywhere from a 2h to a 6h. Depends on the weather and the paper I'm working on. It really is subjective, it's what you find most comfortable. For years I used a drafting lead holder, but about a year ago I switched over to a .03 mechanical pencil. I do like a sharp point and felt like I was developing OCD, constantly sharpening my point. Just by happenstance I ran across this superthin mechanical and gave it a try. As far as clean goes, I just try my best to get my final lines as quickly as possible, erasing is the devil! It tears up your page and grinds your progress to a halt. Hope this helps, take it with a grain of salt, like I said, it's what works for you!
