In general... About a week of work from conception to application, but it could take as long as a month or more depending on the design

Start with a lifecast of yourself, or someone with similar proportions to yours, use clay to build up what the prosthetic is supposed to look like, and make sure the clay blends off, make a mold over top of the whole lot and when you open it, clean the clay out, release it and pour in your prosthetic material
Stuart bray has excellent vids online of the process, just remember you can inject or pour the material weather its silicone, gelatin ect, either works well

Woow, what an amazing monkey makeup !!! =O I'm the singer of a belgian band called Primate's Trooper and I wonder if you could teach me how can I do that or if it's too hard? Does it need special stuffs or is it simple things that make a so awesome result? I ask 'cause your work is the perfect makeup that I want for my shows.

uhmmm well my friend unfortunately, it is a complex process of sculpting molding and casting that's hard to explain all in one go.. however.. have you ever tried buying a pre-made piece and applying and painting it yourself? there is a website called [link] they have some good pieces and a few monkey faces too!
Thanks for the kind words though, very much appreciated!
