Description 'Sometimes in my travels, whenever i felt like i can't keep going and just stop there, tired. I always picture a place, a simple building located next to a pond where i would sit and drink some warm cup of tea. Feeding the fishes that resides in the pond. Seeing the bamboo tree blown by the wind gently, it's leaves falling down and float onto the water. the drips and drops from the bamboo pipe. This place is my happy place. In here, i can just stop thinking and for once, breathe. After a good while, my trip to the happy place ended, i get up and continue walking to my destination.'

Hey there!
I hope you enjoy the painting, it took awhile for me to get it right because it is a bit complicated, the story in this piece actually have a lot of reality subtext from me, dealing with college and emotional problems by constantly being isolated. I always picture a place where i can finally breathe from all the pressure of the real world. It's an inspiration for this painting, i'm sure each and one of us have that kind of experience in life. Well anyways, i might do some warm painting for the next one.
If you like this piece feel free to share it with your friends, if you want to keep posted on my upcoming painting you can give a watch. i appreciate that a lot
Thank you and have a nice day

My mother and father in law use to have koi in the pond in their sunroom. Now they have a variety of Gold fish and turtles.

I've heard koi are super hardy, but i've also seen koi ponds only owned by rich people or buisnesses. Are they expensive to keep?

The koi unfortunately didn't survive. I believe they lived for about 4 years. My mother and father in law have been taking care of Gold fish that look like koi, but are not. Those seem to be healthy, and are breeding. I love feeding the babies As for price on caring for koi, I do not know. I myself haven't adopted any koi. I have cared for many bettas. <3

They are very beautiful fish. *puts mouth in water and blows bubbles for the koi to play in* and very graceful! hehe

*smiles watching the bubbles drift and the koi swim in them* very true, and long lasting. I've heard of a koi that was reportedly 300 years old.

Really? That's incredibly amazing! * hoists herself out of the pond and shakes the water from her fur, then lays next to the water gazing at it and the koi with a dreamy look* I never knew a koi could live that long....imagine what kind of wisdom it must have learned during all those years! *eyes sparkle* Koi must be very wise fish.

Possibly, the koi fish has become a symbol for hardiness and long lasting life. Mayhaps she would even be able to jump the dragon gate and become a dragon.

*ponders the idea of a koi dragon* what a fantastic image, a koi dragon! Would the koi breathe water instead of fire?

I don't know. *slides back hoodie revealing my own wolf ears* but i do know of a legend, that if a koi can travel up the yellow river and jump all dragon gates at the top of waterfalls they will transform into a dragon.

*bows to fellow wolf friend* that is a lovely legend, thank you for sharing. <3 here is to all the Koi in the world, may they make the travel up the yellow river, leap with grace over the dragon gates, and fly off into the world as majestic dragons.

Zen garden is pretty hard to manage though, but hey maybe one day you can have one.
But of course there's always that zen garden in your mind for free where you go there each time you need to relax.

In a state of Zen, or in a moment of peace and quiet, whichever you prefer to call it. I know what it's like to be isolated too.
Very good use of inspiration! Inspiration is trustworthy tool when it works properly, if you give it time and patience.
Like a wise man once said to me: "You can not rush art."

Have a nice day too!

This drawing really gives me the relax feeling. Would love to stop on a place like this,Β kneeling to feed those koi fish, and enjoying the sound of the wind passing through the bambus. Speaking now of the technique matters of this drawing, i must say that i love the light effect of these lamps, and its very beautiful the way you managed to include the complexity of that building on this drawing were nature predominates. Wonderful job here!
