Another entry to the dream series, this one is a bit experimental since i'm learning and trying something new.
An idea sprouted when a friend asked me what would Dr.rabbit's nightmare is like, now that i think about it he must have varieties of dreams. Good and bad ones. For this one i kind of have the idea of a more existential metallic nightmare sorta, kinda. Using dark environments, uncomfortable perspectives and uncanny architectures, hopefully i can achieve that one. It's also inspired from a nightmare i had a few days back, it feels good that i can finally put it into a painting.
This painting doesn't really have a concrete or canon meaning so you're free to interpret it however you want.
Also there's a small easter egg, see if you can spot it .
More brighter and calming painting is on my next list.

Look like Hollow Knight... A bit. I know it must be pure coincidence but still.
I mean with this angle of view the ears could be seen as horns.
Plus : a passage of the game looks like this scene... A bit.

I do admire how well you did to achieve the image of a nightmare. Nightmares are kinda hard to pull off in the form of art imo. No matter how much you attempt to recaptured it, in my case it never feels just as dark as it was in your nightmare. I had several ones myself, most being surrealistic and tense then kthers.
So for me, i say you did pretty decently, though i think for it to be like a scary nightmsre it should look more lucid, more unnatural with the perspective being extremely warped and Odysseus occuring in the said dream.
But in any way, i like it.
