Description
The cold is setting in, the marsh area has this deafening silence before i encounter a figure that seems to be drowning. I tried to get there as fast as possible before realizing that it's some kind of robot. The creation that is left to rust in the bottom of this river. For some reason it activated itself again panicking, it's synthetic voice box crackling to an incomprehensible degree. I hurry up to try and save it but it seems to be broken beyond repair, it seems like i'm just in time for it's emergency energy to kick in one last time.
"They told me i am... defect. I am useless, resource wasting good for nothing bot. They brought me into this world, i learn many things but now they left me submerged here. Please.. i just want to be useful for once." It says with as much emotion a robot could muster. The monotone from the voice box has this heavy weight to it, gargled from the water corroding the speaker.

"Give me one command to accomplish." It pleaded to me.

It was a brief conversation, but it fills me with glee that i finally be able to speak to someone.. The Being does not take account to robots or manmade creations it seems. Trying to be as comforting as i can be i tell the robot "I command you to rest eternally, knowing that you have fulfilled your purpose. Bearing witness to this beautiful world."
Knowing this, The voice becomes too incomprehensible for me. But i swear i can hear it thanking me before finally shutting down to it's eternal rest. Feeling fulfilled.
I stand there in silence before submerging it and leaving the marsh.

I hope you enjoy the painting along with the story that goes along with it.
This painting kind of frustrates me a lot since i am learning how to do a watery marsh scene but ended up having to revise a lot of it. Turns out the things i'm thinking about doesn't necessarily work out but hey i try to paint it as best as i can before finalizing it. Maybe i can move on to something else haha i really need a break from this piece honestly.
