“Run! Run! I just gotta keep running!” Sonic thought as he fled from the horror that was chasing him.

“Soooonnniiic!” Amy called, chasing the blue hedgehog.

“GET AWAY AMY!” Sonic yelled as he sped faster until he lost the annoying pink one.

Sonic ran until he got to Tails workshop in the Mystic Ruins all the way from the Aquatic Ruin knocking on the door as hard as he could he knees wobbling from exhaustion as he leaned on the door frame to stop him from collapsing.

Tails opened the door in a white lab coat with a pair of green goggle over his eyes with a pair of black gloves.

Sonic panted and panted until he caught his breath and stepped inside the house.

“Hey Tails what’s with the mad scientist get up and is that… red you have on you?”

Tails removed his goggles with a frown on his face. “You never could understand me you know Sonic.”

“Sorry lil bro it’s just that when ever I see you its like I’ve fallen into the twilight zone.”

“Sonic I’m not your little brother anymore I’m fifteen for heavens sake.”

“Alright already!” Sonic said quickly.

“And in case you haven’t noticed GUN aren’t paying me by the hour and you barging into my home every time you have an Amy scare inset good for my-“

“Dismemberment DR Frankenstein?” Sonic smirked.

Tails sat down and rubbed his temples. “You wouldn’t understand Sonic… you never have and you never will besides what’s wrong with hiding in your maisonette?

“What?” Sonic asked, confused.

“The sty.” Tails said flatly.

“Ohh you mean the flat.”

“Yes the flat!” Tails replied, rolling his eyes.

“That place is a dump and besides the rent man gets on my case all the time.”

“Do I have to bail you out again?” Tails asked, glaring at his friend.

“Come on Tails you have bucket loads!”

“My research costs bucket loads Sonic!” Tails replied.

“Come on Tails what happened to us? We used to be friends.”

Tails slammed 1000 rings on the table. “Here! I don’t wanna hear the whole speech about friendship… Eggman’s dead Sonic, He died a long time ago you have to move on! The world won’t wait on you anymore!”

“Don’t remind me.” Sonic replied, taking the rings and walking out the door.
