Description We have all seen them. The 1950s newsreels of the nuclear test site, the explosion and houses arching then literally exploding when met by the nuclear wind.

Created in apophysis; a rework of "Bamboo Construction". Gives new meaning to "hot pink".

PLEASE FULL VIEW.

I really like this one! Your curves are very smoothe and beautiful but I think i like your more edgy and vibrant abstract art- it has more of a vilely feel too it rather than calm and collective- lol- and besides- sphere's re over rated ^ ^

Tis alright, and well, looking at it again, I may yet be inclined to include it, I just want to keep my current recent fav up there for a bit, as I really like her work too, and wanna show it off for a while

interesting shape ... quite interesting indeed !! personally i would of called it nuclear window (it's the 1st thing that came to mind seeing this) but that's a detail. I love the fading fractals in the background. They look like pencil marks!

TomWilcox In reply to chip7 [2004-11-01 05:27:08 +0000 UTC]

Guess what; I found a sequence of 8 pics showing a house destroyed by the Nuclear Wind. Haven't seen this in years but I modeled my concept after my memory of this (mine is purely an abstract, symbolic image).

Thanks a lot. I pushed the Brightness to about 25 or 30 on this one to get the hotspots (I'm usually trying to get rid of them)

I love the deeper colors in this and the faded out sections in the background. Normally I don't like the fade out, but it really creates some nice depth to it. Widen this up a bit and throw some color at it and you've got a poster for Windows.

TomWilcox In reply to Aeires [2004-10-30 21:01:54 +0000 UTC]

Thanks Jeff. I boosted the brightness up to around 25!
