Description
James Hetfield the lead vocalist of Metallica, i did this as a commison for someone i used to go to highschool with, it made a change drawing more than just a persons head and shoulders and actually drawing arms and stuff!
i also used A4 paper which seemed so weird after drawing on A3 for so long! im happy with how it turned out, apart from the scanner making it appear lighter and 'messy' than the original drawing :/ A4 paper

The original must be a masterpiece then because this is amazing! The background really makes it look like a photograph, it looks like it has a shallow depth of field effect which makes him really stand out.

thanks! haha yeah the photo was pretty good, im really glad i decided to actually do a background on this piece, and from now on i think im going to continue doing so
