Story: While the Bandicoots are chilling out on Wumpa Islands, A mysterious beam teleported everyone from Earth and into a intergalactic coloseum by the Host, Emperor Velo XXVII. He heard about the fastest racers beat Nitrous Oxide in the Survival of the Fastest contest back then and willingly challenge them to a Intergalactic Grand Prix for the fate of the planet. If the drivers win, Emperor Velo will grant any wish they want from him, but if they lose, their Earth will be Destroyed and the Habitats will be space slaves/minions for racing entertainment forever. Earth Teams accept the challenge and the race is on.
