Description the most memorable scene Spinosaur vs. T-rex in Jurassic Park 3,

its really intense, but too short battle in movie hahahaa
and the sad part is T-rex is lost. i really dont understand that. Spinosaur is a fish eater, and have a weak jaw, but T-rex is a monstrous carnivore and have a stong jaw grip... actually in my mind Spinosaur will end in T-rex bite. but i was wrong
spinosaur win,

Thank you for the stock ;

I hope someday they do a rematch between these two.

Whats sad is the accurateness, the spinos neck should be broken at most a 10 seconds after the rex bit it. The spino probably could not snap a neck as muscled as the rexes and worst of all the everyone is just mad the rex lost, they arn't immortal they can die in a fight.

I love T-Rex. I wish s/he had won. It had a bigger jaw than Spinosaurus, yet Spinosaurus broke T-Rex's neck with no problems. That's too bad. If only T-Rex had kept on eating its meal, instead of chasing the people... sweet, adorable animal, though (yeah, I've loved T-Rex and other dinosaurs since I was little, T-Rex being my favorite). I think they're very cute for some reason. It has such cute little hands with two fingers, and it looks like T-Rex is smiling when it has its mouth closed.

at first, before i knew the fact about spinosaurus, i thought... spino will win, because of the size. Until i read some article about spino. ITs a fish eater, and have a weaker jaw. and if im not wrong, if t rex have a bone crusher bite. its must be devastating right. Yet spino still can get away from trex bite.Β

I always love trex. its like the most ferocious, coolest dino ever hahahaΒ

I see. They did a little mistake in the movie, then. But it's a cool movie anyway.
Yeah, T-Rex is indeed the coolest dino, I agree.

T-Rex would've and should've won. It was just more of an effective predator that was capable of taking down large dinosaurs, unlike Spinosaurus.

Spino is larger and has long claws

Rex is smarter, quicker and stronger

Both these larger predators are dominant in their own way

yeah, they both have their reign and different time., but both are the fierecest dino ever

BurnedSmackdown In reply to tomzj1 [2014-06-28 06:04:46 +0000 UTC]

True also the Rex hunts in pairs, but I think both Dinos would have had a fair fight on their own just the Spino won in JP3 because it was a young Rex it was fighting if it was a fully grown Rex than it would have been a longer fight with different results

I wished the fans wouldn't be so crazy about it

It could also have been the baby T-Rex from The Lost World all grown up. The baby's leg was broken in Lost World so making it younger and not as powerful as say the momma or daddy Rex would make sense since it IS the same island.

I've heard that theory before and all we know is that it wasn't a full grown rex because if it was than it would have won

CinnamonOdyssey [2013-10-11 00:28:27 +0000 UTC]

The Spinosaurus may have had a weaker jaw,but you have to factor in that it didnt use its Jaw force. It simply grabbed and twisted. If it crushed the Rexs' neck with its bite alone, then yea, that would've been bullshit. But it didnt.

And if you watch the movies' behind the scenes, the paleontologist explained the Spinosaurus was the bigger meat eater, and its sheer size and muscle power alone was enough to end the rexs' life.

Sorry, but the Rex had to be dethroned sooner or later.

That may explain why the Spinosaurus is the main antagonist of the 3rd movie.

Maybe, but although the velociraptors are the main atagonists on the first film while the T-Rex (probably appearing 4 scenes, excluding the distant roar from some clips) is probably an anti-hero while saving those humans at the end from the raptors. Does that actually make sense.

LMFAO as if Tyrannosaurus is smaller, less intelligent and has no reach, he can't even swim for fuck's sake so face it: he's an overhyped one-trick-poney whose bite force would be completely useless against Spinosaurus because he has no reach, the fight would be no different from Tarbosaurus getting bitchslapped by Therizinosaurus so I suggest you take your flawed biased Tyrannotard logic elsewhere.Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ZombieFighter116 In reply to Volcanic-Harpy [2016-05-22 20:07:32 +0000 UTC]

I'm not biased, FYI. I know for a fact that T-Rex would have a few advantages over Spinosaurus.

Plus, T-Rex doesn't need to swim. Plus, it was proven that Spinosaurus COULDN'T swim. It waded around in water when it hunted fish.

Also, T-Rex is built for battle and for hunting down other dinosaurs just as big as itself. It's bulky and has the superior jaw strength. Its jaws and teeth were made for punching through flesh and bone. Spinosaur's teeth were made for hunting fish.

Also, reach means nothing if Spinosaurus even gets in his range. And before you even pull out the "arms" argument, keep in mind that Spinosaurus couldn't even grab a T-Rex because it doesn't have a wrist function in its arms.

Furthermore, while Spinosaurus is a carnivore (primarily a piscivore), there has never been any account in which it hunted animals larger than the fish it was used to hunting.

And on another note, are you a licensed paleontologist? Do you have some sort of certificate of completion in the field of paleontology? What makes you such an expert? Absolutely nothing, that's what. Have a nice day.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Volcanic-Harpy In reply to ZombieFighter116 [2016-05-23 15:03:02 +0000 UTC]

wrong again: Tyrannosaurus only has one advantage and that's his superior bite force and since he has ZERO reach this means his theoretical advantage is useless in reality: what good would it do having a bigger bite if you can't even reach your opponent's vital spots in time unless risking getting your eyesockets ripped apart in the process LMFAO and Tyrannosaurus doesn't need to swim? You don't fucking know that dumbass Spinosaurus is semi-aquatic he can both swim and if need be stand-up on land like a grizzly and bitchslap Tyrannosaurus into retreat or death and sooner or later Tyrannosaurus WILL need to drink and that's when Spinosaurus forces him into the water, where he can't even swim let alone fight Tyrannosaurus is only built for battling and fending off prey much smaller than himself even his biggest prey items such as Ankylosaurus or Triceratops were only half his size whereas Spinosaurus had to live and compete alongside the likes of Carcharodontosaurus and even Sarcosuchus the former of which had far sharper teeth than Tyrannosaurus which explains why he didn't need that big of a bite force to begin with like sharks nowadays, and the latter of which had a bigger bite force than ANY Tyrannosaurus found to this day so yeah I think Spinosaurus wouldn't be all that impressed if Tyrannosaurus would even consider attacking him since both of his rivals are already bigger and AT LEAST equally impressive as Tyrannosaurus. By the way Carcharodontosaurus DID hunt far bigger prey items than himself and that didn't scare Spinosaurus so why the fuck would Tyrannosaurus - the midget among gigantic carnivorous dinosaurs - scare him? And by the way wiseass whatever Spinosaurus lacks in bite force and teeth he makes up for BIG TIME in arms and claws, which - let's be honest - Tyrannosaurus barely has as it is (frankly Spinosaurus' bite is still far more impressive than Tyrannosaurus' puny misshapen excuses of arms and Spino's huge arms the size of a fully grown man with fishhooks capable of killing fish the size of modern great whites is equally if not more impressive still than Tyrannosaurus' massive bite force). Tyrannosaurus being bulky is no advantage whatsoever all it means is it would slow him down because he's smaller and thus being bulkier would only slow him down, comparing Spinosaurus with Tyrannosaurus is like comparing a boxer or karateka with a bodybuilder just because you have more muscle doesn't mean you can use it in a fight. Reach means EVERYTHING one good smack and Tyrannosaurus is DONE Tyrannosaurus has ONE weapon which is his massive maul Spinosaurus has 6 weapons 6 claws he only needs one to blind Tyrannosaurus for life or a few to bitchslap him into defeat, the odds of Tyrannosaurus getting close enough is next to impossible and even if he does he will lose his sight in the process which means in the end best case scenario it's a draw LMFAO Tyrannosaurus simply doesn't have the tools to win without eventually dying himself one way or another Spinosaurus doesn't need to grab Tyrannosaurus all it takes is one good smack and he's done for by the way sounds like an excuse to me where's your evidence to support your claim smartass. There has been solid evidence of a fight between Spinosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus which Spinosaurus won by the way though Carcharodontosaurus had the more lethal bite so before trying to come off as a dinosaur expert I suggest you do some proper research first because now you're merely coming off as a whiny sore loser amateur who didn't do his homework and by the way - again - Tyrannosaurus has NEVER hunted prey anywhere even close to his size because like I said before even his biggest and most dangerous prey items such as Triceratops were AT MOST half his size why else do you think Triceratops stayed together when even a single Tyrannosaurus tried to atrack them? You are asking me if I am a licenced paleontologist no I'm not I'm just a huge dinosaur fanatic since I was a small child and I've been keeping up with everything dinosaur-related for over 20 years it's one of my main hobbies so now my question to you hypocrite poser is are YOU a licenced paleontologist because no offence but if you are I'm not impressed at all because there's tons of biased arguments you're using with no scientific value or truth behind them whatsoever.Β
