Trust me when I say there would be a market for your work. I would recommend advertising your services to vehicle enthusiasts (planes, military vehicles, trains, cars, etc.). Advertise your ability to create a nice custom painting of their own vehicle/their favourite vehicle/a vehicle of their own invention. These sorts of hobbyists are generally middle-aged, so they have money. I would seek them out by checking out enthusiast forums, and creating a post to advertise your services. Another option other than forums is to look for vehicle hobby groups on facebook. I could see this being a nice little side business. You should do it! You could also consider doing t-shirt designs, in addition to full colour paintings. Like for example, designing a shirt for a motorcycle club. If you do any of this, let me know how it goes!
