This was intended to be a gift for my aunt who loves elephants, and oh man the sketch was just so cool looking and perfect, and my original idea was to paint it in watercolor and do the "shading" with gold leaf.... well the watercolor did not look good with the type of art board I was using, so covered it in acrylic, and then all of that shading detail just did not translate well as gold leaf so you get this disaster piece as a result lol. One day I'll try again.
