Thanks for the comments. Not sure if I am going to do the classic universal monsters. It all depends on time and motivation. Never say never though.

I like Michaael and Jason too but I like Freddy the most out of them because I actually like the fact that he jokes with his victims because it shows just how sick and twisted he is, he loves what he does. He also walks different and is all about both story and ways to dies. Also, he's always been played by one actor(Robert Englund) whereas, many actors have played Michael and Jason.Yes, Jason was mostly turbulent but he did have some story to him as well and was still entertaining. And I actually believe Michael would be the first to go if they ever fought because he's still relativley human, yes he's been set on fire and electrocuted but he's never actually died. Freddy and Jason though, they've died numerous times yet still have come back because they're supernatural. Freddy is the quickest out of the 3 so I'm going with him.
In the end though, all 3 are my favorites.
Good picture too by the way.

I'm pretty sure that Freddy would lose first, since he doesn't have his dream world advantage. But, it's a tie between Michael and Jason. Jason is more stronger and brutal, but he dies often. Michael is faster and never dies, and he has more experience than Jason. However, Michael is still human unlike Freddy or Jason.

It's a little to close to call between the two. (Jason and Michael) When I was young I used to think Freddy was cool but as I got older and after a few Elm Street films into the series (That and the fact that I became a teacher) I really don't like glorifying a Child Killer. Teenagers and Moronic Adults is one thing (go figure that first one out) but killing young children is just bad.

As far as powers go, yesh Freddy would lose. Even though his dream killing is kickass. ((Fred Krueger fan)).
However as terms of character...Freddy's the best. Jason is quiet and just comes in and silently kills bimbos. If you hate the characters he's killing, it ruins the scare. He's just not that scary.
Michale Meyers...more blah faceless evil, but he kills of decent actors so he's a tad more scary.
Both Michael and Jason really don't scare me. they're just psychotic.
Freddy is intelligent, cunning, and witty. He's the thinker of the great horror icons, and grows in power with the fear of his victims. If you fall asleep, you're doomed.
Fred Krueger for the win.

Interesting thoughts. Cool.
I have to disagree with you on Michael not being a cunning killer. How many times has he snuck up or outsmarted his victims? Countless times.

seein how im a Halloween an Friday 13 fan i agree with the freddy bashing, even with his nightmare gimick against myers because to me myers has allways been a true born killer one devoid of fear. (also i just fucking hate freddy)
with myers vs jason i have to say jason would definatly win (sorry fellow myers fans) its just if myers is the wolf in sheeps clothing the jason is the fucking crocodile in a pond.
i mean hes like a great white shark with a machete, not mention he cant be killed, unless u count the toxic waste or secret nephew. the point is myers is human, a psychopath with a high resistence to pain, but still human.
enough of rants and on to this artwork, first impressions are that its brilliant, well done u should be proud. only wrong with it and you've already said it, jason dos'nt look rite. i think its the head.

Take out Freddy's Supernatural element and against both Michael and Jason, he's a dead duck. He might try to play them against each other. But it would eventually backfire on him and all thats left is a severed glove and Freddy's head on a Pike.
Jason against Michael, I would say thats going to be a close battle.

Well it would be a close battle. I'm sorry you didn't like the new movie. I thought it was a fresh take. Granted It was a remake but it was a new take better than what they had done in the last few movies. They Screwed that up after 4.

3 was an ok movie on it's own had it just been called "Season of the Witch" and had nothing to do with the Halloween franchise.
They had a great story with 4 but when it got to 5, they dropped the ball, 6 more or less jumped the shark and killed a potential good storyline. H2O deleted the whole previous storylines altogether being a direct sequel to Halloween 1 and 2. In all honestly it should have ended with H2O but they made "Resurrection" Killing off Jamie Lee and having Busta Ryhmes kicking Michaels ass really annoyed me.
Anyways, of the Old Timeline I settle for 1, 2 and H2O. Where they go after the remake is anyones guess.

I agree with you on most points, I liked 4, 5 and 6 I just think the storyline could of been implemented a little better, 6 has my favourite scene of all the series though, where he kills the doctors in the operating room then the guy in the hallway, that movie could of been excellent had they not went a little weird with the story in places.
H20 and Resurrection were the worst in my opinion, before the remake. I love Rob zombies music but I hate his films, he seems like he tries to get us to feel for characters who have little to no likability, the first half of the first half of the film has the same tone and feel as his other movies, pretty much rednecks swearing and the grimey look to everything, I hate the way it implied Michael may be the way he is because he had a fucked up childhood, plus I fucking hated him as a kid in that movie, I thought it was perfect that the others, not including 6, made no attempt to explain why he did it, he was just an anomaly. The second half of the film was poor, the only parts that were entertaining were the sections where it could of pretty much been a carbon copy of the original. There were no iconic scenes like Michael standing in the garden staring at the house or him trying to grab Lorrie through the closet, there were no decent kills, to be honest I can't remember even one in detail because they were all so forgettable.
The main thing I hated in H20 was where Michael reached out to take Lorries hand at the end, I hate that sort of sentimentality in the series, trying to humanise Michael and the remake had it more so than any other.
I really disliked the actor who played him in it, the original and the actor in The Curse were my favourite, even though he was so tall he came off as lumbering and awkward, he just looked lanky in my opinion, in H20 the actor was fairly small framed but he carried himself well, you could see the intent in the way he moved and it was menacing. Even though it was the tallest actor to play him it seemed like he was at his weakest, what the hell was that struggle in the truck stop restroom? And finally they made the mask look weathered, I don't know if this was to make it look scarier or for Zombie to simply put his own mark on it but I think it removed what made the mask ominous in the first place.
Sorry about the big post, I don't think I have ever typed more than a sentence or two on DeviantArt..

Hey No Problem with the long comment. I see your point on the past films and on the remake. They are valid points. I personally like The New Michael as far as his look goes. He looks much more menacing and I highly doubt Busta Ryhmes would "Kick his ass" As far as Iconic images are concerned I would love for Ryhmes' character to get the Hanging by the butcher knife stabbing that Remake Bob got.
Also with Tyler Mane as Michael, Yeah he looked a bit lumbering, but when he became the Shape he had the slick and methodical moves that Michael is known to have. He was quiet and sneaky with his stalking. Brutal with his killing, But Mane brought out another degree of menace with his size. Just my thought on the Matter. Personally I liked both Nick Castle and Dick Warlock's Michael Myers. I really liked Tyler Mane as Michael.
Plus with the length of the film they couldn't just have all to the original movie in the remake. They hit all the important beats. They did get Laurie seeing Michael from a far in a couple scenes in there. And I'm glad they changed some stuff around. I was happy that Anne survived (Especially since it was Danielle Harris, I thought she always got a raw deal when it came to 6) and by the end of the film (Compared with Halloween 1 and 2)the right people were dead by the end. Michael and Loomis. Laurie was the Psychological scarred Survivor.

Thanks for the Fave.
I put a lot of work into Michael than I did for Jason.
At some point I am going to go back and retouch Jason cause I didn't give him enough attention like I did with Mike and Fred

My only hope for this remake is that it still has something of the spirit of the Original and not depend too much on The Gore Factor.
I'm of the mind set that Less, if done correctly, can be more.
