Although I like the results of this piece I feel that crayola colored pencils can only offer me little. On my last piece I made the bold statement to leave prismacolor behind but I think that I will go back. Crayola colred pencils don't blend well at all and they don't look that professional to me.But, otherwize I really enjoyed this piece being able to use this character in another piece was really fun. It helped me establish more things about the character. I like the colors in this one alot more also.

I think the colours blend perfectly. It's always a difficult job to pull this with crayons. But you nailed all the textures. The skin is smoothly shaded and the trousers have a different feel all together. The hair and the gold bits have a more watered down look that goes very well with the rest. Very appealing to the eye.

this drawing caught my attention because it seemed to be all over your front page. upon a closer look, i began to like it. i look up to people who use colored pencils and make them blend so well with the paper, without leaving any white spaces (i always have that problem 
the only thing that irks me is her expression. she reminds me of a person who can't really smile and is posing for a photographer
