...my whole world braced for the impact.This was done for my closest friend Dee, someone who's given me strength to struggle throughout the past year.

Please let me know what you think, this is still one of many versions I think.

Wow this is awesome, in the thumb it looked like an angel coming down with the big flame looking bits as the wings. On the full view it still looks like a figure coming down, but not clearly. But that first glance is still what occupies my mind when I look at this.
The way the sky looks to emmence to the person below gives a great effect.
I think I like the colours this way, but a differnt hue might also look good.

Hey thanks, the clouds at the top were a mirrored image to create the effect of something falling out of the sky. The bottom half where the seems to be a collusion is all one image, after a lot of adjustments. The rays of light were created in photoshop and thats me at the bottom in my room

I was hoping you would use more "cool" colors than these warm colors. Hope to see another version of it, sorry about my blatant comment but I believe you could do justice with cooler colors to this.

Thanks for the feedback, i'm still revising this, but you certainly have a point - i was thinking of using clouds with the same hue as those in my other image 'A Bold Entrance' [link] . Someday I might even complete it
