Unfortunately they're not allowed to fly at night, when the burners aren't on they can't be seen. They do the night glows just for a light show effect, but what an amazing site that would be in the night sky

I suppose they can be unpredictable & could cause a safety issue,
more so in the dark. Still looks spectacular though.

Thank you that was taken at the Indianola Hot Air Balloon festival here in Iowa last year. They teether the balloons a safe distance apart after dark and turn on the burners, it is really quite awesome to see.
I'm still working on the size thing with my prints when viewd full image and have a question in with the print desk on how to open a store on Deviantart. If there's any prints you want feel free to print them out or let me know and I'll e-mail you the file
