Description A movie poster-esque pice I made for Who Kidnapped Clarice Cub? It took me several days to get this done, by the way. I designed the illustration and title first and typed in the tagline and credits using PAINT.NET

Ace O. Spades and friend are back in Who Kidnapped Clarice Cub?, the latest installment of the Ace O. Spades Trilogy, the fan-made made unofficial spin-off of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and based on the Roger Rabbit books and characters by Gary K. Wolf!

It’s the 1980’s and Ace, his wife Rosie, and their two children, Tracey and Ronald, were settling down for their summer vacation at the podunk farming community of Red Island, Iowa. All was well until Ace and Rosie were slated to participate in the double feature premiere of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and The Toon from Outer Space at the Versailles French Theater in ToonTown. Among the other invited guests are Ace and Rosie’s old friends: Roger Rabbit and his wife Jessica, retired detective Eddie Valiant and his wife Dolores; and Chief Clark Cottontail of the ToonTown Detective Agency, as well as toon child prodigy Twentieth Century Fox, shyster editor-in-chief Delancy Duck of the Toontown Telltale, and toon child star of Maroon Cartoons’ Saturday morning cartoon series Clarice Cub. However, a sinister gang of hooded figures kidnap Clarice Cub and the gang while they were getting ready for the premiere. To make matters worse, America is caught in the satanic panic hysteria and rumors of devil worshipping are spreading like wildfire. It’s up to Tracey and Ronald Spades, along with their friends, to track the clues, interview familiar faces and suspicious characters, and rescue Clarice Cub and the Famous Nine or ToonTown will end up in a real heap of trouble! This all new upcoming short story is a mix of intriguing mystery, comical cartoony slapstick, dangerous adventure, 1980’s action flicks, homage to the horror paperbacks of the 1970s and 80s, and totally radical 1980’s references where you too will be asking the question: Who Kidnapped Clarice Cub?
