Description

After a whole month of lack of motivation to draw anything, I finally decided to draw something, and that something is Misty from My Life as a Teenage Robot (which I haven't drawn her in 5 years. Can you believe it?!)

I imagined her wearing a black leather jacket, jeans and converse shoes; you could say it's her way to blend in with the crowd, not getting noticed right away by strangers she might dislike. Strolling in foggy sidewalks in quieter city areas seems to be her favorite pass time.

I gotta admit now, Misty was probably one of my first cartoon crush for awhile, and still kind of is. I feel like she could've gotten so much more potential if she appeared more often in the show. Although caring towards Jenny (XJ-9) for the most part, later on grew into a reckless, merciless and downright loathsome character, there was no way she could be redeemed as a sympathetic character. I guess in a way, I kind of wanted to revive her and see her grow whenever she would become an adult. After such a long time, I'm only admitting now that I'd REALLY love to see a spin-off story of Misty and only Misty herself, how she'd struggle to become a better person and could only find answers by talking to others or people that she knew in the past, even though it would hurt her in the long run.
