Now, finally I do understand a bit how Apophysis works actually.I learnt many things just by experimenting with this. As far as I know, this type of fractal is known as a Dragon Egg. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I am happy with what I did here. Now sometimes I am able to do what I want to do with my fractal. In this case I was able to add the border around the sphere.
But not satisfied, as I couldn't change the background color.Oh...well, I guess this time I did better than the last time.

Nice one! Keep it up and you'll be as good as is in no time. I remember when she first joined DA about a year ago, and it took her a lot of practice to be as good as she is now. lol, I was one of her first friends on DA, and I still follow her work.

Yepp - and I have tried some fractal art program once, but I didn't get it either - so I thought I'd better leave it to those who really know how to do it - and stick to what I CAN do

I like all the little specks of light that shine thru this image, it really looks like light is swirling around inside of it, this is really neat. Good Work.

I was trying to make this a bit more shiny, but the gradient was becoming blurry. Maybe, next time I'll succeed.
