Like many of you, I want to see Shadow on the big screen very very badly!
Now, about this art: I was inspired by Sonic the hedgehog's new movie design and I drew my ultra favorite video game character, Shadow, in the style of the movie 3D animation. As a helpful drawing reference, I looked at a picture of Sonic doing this pose to help me make Shadow and then, to make the background, I looked at a picture of a shady desert. With that, my prodigious art skills got to work for 3 and a half days. 🖋 After a little practice, I right away started recording the entire process from the free Autodesk Sketchbook app because, conveniently, it already has a screen recorder you can turn on while you sketch away. I think the app has decent tools and plenty of layers to use. Great for pencil drawing and painting! Fast loading, too.
