Dans ce premier épisode voici donc le Lt Maria-Cruz Hernandez de la flotte stellaire de la Communauté Economique Terrienne.
La série se déroule quelques années après qu'elle soit devenue célèbre pour être le premier humain à être passée de l'autre côté du "miroir".
L'épisode commence sur la base avancée déployée sur la planète Coriandre en vue de sa future colonisation.
