Description
A fan request, this is Captain Mar-Vell as a Black Lantern. All in all, I wished I would have done something a bit more dynamic (I'm still going off of Sabretooth's crazy-sweet pose). I did have fun coming up with this and hopefully, more fan requests come by because it was great!Related content

I'm not too familar with Captain Marvel, so I wouldn't be able to recommend where to start. I do know that Ms. Marvel became Captain Marvel and I heard that comic run is very good.

Mar-vell was an interesting character in my opinion. It's a shame Marvel keeps him dead because I'd love to see him in more stories, but his death was so interesting, different and well written, reviving him would undo the classic storyline. The ripped masked and emblem combination both look great.
Interestingly enough, the character has been considered "The Avatar of Life" in some stories. Speaking of Marvel's avatars, have you thought about drawing Thanos? He's in love with Death (as in the female form of it) and has died a number of times (though he got better, he wishes to stay dead to be with his love). Quasar would also be a good choice, perhaps as a Green Lantern. His powers are also very similar to the GL's (though his constructs are yellow and come from bands)

Thanks! I won't lie, Mar-Vell was a fan request as a Black Lantern and after doing some research, I thought his death was extremely well-planned and would love to see him come back and wield the nega-bands one more time.
I have made Thanos an Orange Lantern due to the idea of the whole greedy obsession of the Infinity Gauntlet. I haven't really thought about Quasar though. I do have plans for Nova as a Green Lantern, just because he pretty much is Marvel's Hal Jordan. Maybe a Black Lantern Thanos could be in order...Thanks for the idea!

Nova as a Green Lantern makes sense. Even if it isn't due to Nova = Green Lantern, the ordeals Richard has had to go through definitly requites Willpower. Maybe make Quasar a Blue Lantern as he does seem more hopeful and the two work well together.

I'll definitely check out Mar-Vell. As for Quasar, I look into him some more. I'm definitely wanting to make some more 'cosmic' heroes so Quasar would work. Just to let you know, I do have a Black Lantern Black Bolt planned out, so hopefully you'll be interested...
