For the Primary Rangers (Red, Blue and Yellow), I would to follow the Earth, Wind and Water route, so when it came to Water, I wanted to have a more visually interesting mammal and thought the otter would be nice.
I'm glad you agree with the representation on the otter!

I hadn't noticed you did earth/wind/water with them. It's shuttle (at least to me) but nicely done.
They are a fascinating creature. I recently saw a video where one was putting shaped blocks into a cube.

Thank you, I do what I can.
I'm always fascinated with watching animals do things like that. Octopi are amazing with all of the crazy things they can do like 'walk' outside of water, fit through tight areas and crack open shellfish to eat.

I wasn't aware Octopi could do that.
Since seeing the "Kung-Fu Bear" video a few years back, I've been keeping my eye open for videos of animals doing "human" things like using tools. I find it very fascinating.

I don't think I've mentioned this but in college I took Invertebrate Biology and have always been fascinated with the oddness of how amazing invertebrates are. Two of my favorites are Stomatopods (Mantis Shrimp) and Tardigrades (Water Bear). If you haven't heard of either, I'd recommend checking them out. They are both fascinating and I'm surprised they've never really hit mainstream to the casual individual.

Thanks! I wanted to stick with something that was a bit odd, yet made sense for a female character. Since Wolf = land, Bat = Sky, I wanted the next one to be = water. C'mon, Whales?! Nope...Otter, all the way
