Almost Complete is Still ImperfectionA heart that has a missing piece,
A doll without an eye,
An ambulance without a siren,
A bird that cannot fly.
A rolling suitcase without wheels,
A bee without it’s sting,
A doorbell raising no alarms,
A song you cannot sing.
A Christmas tree without a star,
A puzzle left in peices,
A race car driver, lost his keys,
Rain that never ceases.
Keys without a lock to open,
A stop sign far from any road,
A dancer losing both her legs,
A pistol that can not reload.
A clock without a single hand,
A star without a gazer,
A skull having no creepy factor,
A cop without a tazer.
A singer who has lost her voice,
An animal lover, allergic to fur,
A teacher wanting not to teach,
A camera producing nothing but blur.
A sterile couple wanting kids,
An ab-less body builder,
A postal worker on a Sunday,
A magician failing to bewilder.
A chair that only has three legs,
A vampire without a fang,
A kitty cat that isn’t cute,
A shower curtain, that fails to hang.
A list of things that try and fail,
Try for perfect, accept defeat,
But for these things it’s one big letdown.
Because almost perfect, is still incomplete
