He will be there for his friends, more often than not Greg. He learned about new ways to organize things and how to fight from Greg, and he also taught Greg about many diseases and how to treat patients with those diseases. He regularly spends his time traveling with the other three, occasionally stopping to treat patients when they require care. He even visited Greg for a while, and felt obligated to give small presents to the kids and parents, which made them all appreciate him more.

He also has an ability to move with minimal sound. People don’t notice him until they either turn around or he says something. This leads to the rest of the gang (except June) to get jumpscared often. It turns out the reason he was able to be so quiet was because he had to learn how to avoid getting caught doing things the orphanage faculty don’t approve of. It also helped him hide/escape from mutants, and to steal supplies from school. He met Greg Trueant during the start of his third year of med school. He accidentally cackled when the ant cracked a corny joke. Greg shows his appreciation by sitting next to him (while silently acknowledging that no one sat at Louie’s table prior). From then on, they partnered in classes and even met up after class to study together. Louie grew noticeably more comfortable and even happy, but there were still moments where he had depressive episodes.

While Greg unfortunately dropped out without notice 3 years later, Louie luckily graduated and finally became a radiologist, pathologist, and general physician.

When the gang found out he was a victim of Project TRUST, a “therapy program” ran by an organization known as The Center for Augmentation of Biological Duration and Eternal Provisions (CABDEP), they had to fight off (mainly) an opossum and orchid mantis, a researcher duo who have successfully biologically deaged and who were trying to capture Louie. It turns out the reason they wanted him was because his cell lines had a special immortality feature that was the key to their deaging, and they couldn’t find it in other victims. This was also foreshadowing to human-Ava and T----’s technology.
