Description
Short 4: The Snoozatron
One night, Mickey was in his bed, trying to sleep, but he was having trouble doing so. He groaned and moaned as he kept tossing and turning. The mouse reached the lamp on the cabinet next to him, and turned it on.
Mickey: (sits up) I'll never sleep after all that cheese.
He then turned to a new slot machine-live invention, the Snoozatron, on the wall next to him.
Mickey: There's only one thing for it.
So the inventor pulled down the lever, activating the device and making all the numbers spin rapidly.
In Pluto's bedroom, the dog was fast asleep, feeling nothing could ruin his slumber, that is until a Snoozatron alarm on the wall next to him went off, waking the poor dog. He frowned with a tired look as he turned on the lamp, knowing that his assistance was needed again.
Back in Mickey's bedroom, the mouse got ready as two mechanical arms with gloves, called the Handy Helpers, appeared from the ceiling, and two more Handy Helpers appeared from the floor.
Mickey: Good thing I got the okay of Professor Von Drake to install some Handy Helpers in my home.
The first two Helpers pushed the pillows, fluffing them out, while the other two arms tried straightening out the matress.
Mickey: Whoops! Oh, easy there!
Back with Pluto, the alarm still rang and the dog sat on the edge of the uncovered bed, still looking tired.
Once done straightening out the bed and fluffing the pillows, the Handy Helpers disappeared as Mickey laid back down in relaxation.
Mickey: (relaxed) Ahh.
With Pluto, he opened a closet door and pulled out a sheep suit on a hangar, though he didn't like having to wear it.
With Mickey, he hummed a bit before a Handy Helper laid a warm pack on his lap.
Mickey: Oh, just right.
He extended his hand out as another robotic arm appeared and handed a teddy bear to the inventor before going back into its original place. He held the teddy bear closely to him.
Pluto was in the sheep suit, but not all the way yet, as he walked down the stairs, wishing he wouldn't have to do this everytime his master can't sleep.
Mickey then saw a picture of Pluto fold down as a small record player appeared and started playing Brahms' Lullaby with some sheep noises to go with it. Mickey nodded his head to the song.
Mickey: I could count regular sheep in my head, but I'd rather avoid a toon sheep trying to escape the dream to invade other dreams of mine, to make them that sheep's own. I don't want to go through the same experience Bonkers had.
Pluto waited in the dining room for his cue, when two boards in the ceiling opened up, startling the dog. The boards led to Mickey's room above.
Mickey: (calls out) Ready, Pluto!
So Pluto slipped the head part of his costume on, with his ears sticking through the sheep ears. He then stepped on something behind him, and he got shot up in the air to Mickey's room thanks to a giant spring. When Mickey saw the sheep-dressed dog, he started the whole counting-sheep system every time he saw Pluto bounce up in front of him.
Mickey: One...two...(yawns) three...
Pluto flipped upside-down, as Mickey's eyes started to drop.
Mickey: four...five...(drifts off) siiiiix...
He fell back, completely asleep now. The record played on while Pluto kept jumping back up on that spring, and saw his owner was asleep. However, he saw that the Snoozatron's numbers representing the amount of sheep counting down left, which was somewhere in the 0480's, and to Pluto's annoyance, he was unable to stop what he was doing. He folded his arms while glancing at the Snoozatron, and the bored dog got out a newspaper as he read it while bouncing, and when he finished, he looked at his watch, wondering if it'll be any longer.
(End of Short 4)

Poor Pluto, if only HE could get some sleep.
The next contraption, which we will see the events of in October, is a special vest to defend the one wearing it against bullies and burglars.
Now, I've already got a long list of projects to finish, and here's one fanmake I've been meaning to start and finish sometime this year before December: a fanmake of the first Muppet Movie. I've been planning to do one for so long, and now's the time to start it.
Here's the cast (so far):
Kermit: Roger Rabbit (Who framed Roger Rabbit?) and Rocket "Rocky" J. Squirrel (Rocky & Bullwinkle) (sharing the role)
Fozzie-Garfield Logan/Beast Boy (DC Comics) and Bullwinkle J. Moose (Rocky and Bullwinkle) (same with these two)
Miss Piggy-Jessica Rabbit (Who Framed Roger Rabbit?) and Dot Warner (Animaniacs; don't know if she'd be a good love interest for Rocky, but she DOES have the required obsessiveness AND tendency to try to play "cute and sweet" unless she gets really cheesed off) (same with these two)
Doctor Teeth and the Electric Mayhem Band (minus Animal)-Scat Cat and his band(The Aristocats), and whichever feline characters I feel like using as Floyd and Janice
Animal-Stitch (Lilo and Stitch)
Robin the Frog-Buster Bunny (Tiny Toon Adventures) and Skippy Squirrel (Animaniacs) (also sharing the role)
Swedish Chef-Chef Pisghetti (Curious George (TV Series))
Sam the Eagle-Mr. Herriman (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends)
Statler-Roy Rooster (Garfield and Friends)
Waldorf-Foghorn Leghorn (Looney Tunes)
Sweetums-the Abominable Snowman (Looney Tunes version)
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew-Wallace (Wallace & Gromit)
Beaker-Gromit and Shaun (Wallace & Gromit/Shaun the Sheep; sharing the role)
Crazy Harry-Gopher (Winnie the Pooh franchise)
Big Bird-Clifford the Big Red Dog (franchise of the same name)
Doc Hopper-Lex Luthor (DC Comics)
Snake the Frogkiller-Judge Doom (Who Framed Roger Rabbit?)
Balloon Vendor-Gepetto (Pinocchio)
Bernie the Agent-Tiger (An American Tail franchise; referencing they're both played by the late Dom DeLuise)
El Sleezo Patron-Snotlout (How to Train Your Dragon)
Lew Lord-LB Mammoth (Cats Don't Dance)
Beauty Contest Compere-Eddy (Ed, Edd n Eddy)
Ice Cream Vendor-Ice Cream Vendor Fish (SpongeBob SquarePants)
El Sleezo Tough-Emil Bronski/the Abomination (Marvel Comics)
El Sleezo Pianist-Wooly the Mammoth (Cats Don't Dance)
Other Beauty Contest Contestants-Rita (Animaniacs; as a full anthro), Minerva Mink (Animaniacs), Hello Nurse (Animaniacs), Red Hot Riding Hood (MGM cartoons), Fox (Skunk Fu)and Georgette (Oliver and Company; as a full anthro)
Angry sailor at the El Sleezo-Bluto (Popeye the Sailor Man)
And I'm undecided on the rest. I've got more than one options for the following characters:
Gonzo-either Mater (Cars; as a human or type of creature that's not a car), Sonic the Hedgehog or fictionalized versions of the Three Stooges
Camilla-either Holley Shiftwell (Cars 2; as a human or a type of creature that's not a car), whichever girl I pair up with Sonic or OC love-interests for the Three Stooges
Max-either Phoebus (The Hunchback of Notre Dame) or Homer Simpson (The Simpsons)
Professor Max Krassman-either Dr. Heinz Doofenschmirtz (Phineas and Ferb) or Dr. Ivan Krank (Teacher's Pet)
Insolent Waiter-either Zazu (The Lion King) or George Constanza (Seinfeld)
And as for Lew Zeland, Nigel the Conductor, Shakey Sanchez, Edgar Bergen, Charlie McCarthy, Mad Man Mooney, Myth, and Lord's secretary, I've got nothing. An anonymous friend suggested May from Pokémon as the last one, but I can't imagine her being allergic to animal hair, since she's around Pokémon ALL THE TIME, and everyone knows they pretty much ARE animals.
