Haha! This is so crazy. So many different emotions you have going here. You sure gave each one personality.
I am guessing this is watercolor since you said you did this as a painting in your submission. If so, the colors are very well blended together. Not having those (in my opinion) irritaing hard lines like in cell shading. Here it is just nice and smooth.
You did some nice creativity one Meganium with those petals. Gives a little touch of you.

You're right on the money....it IS watercolor!
I normally ink the lines before I apply the paint, and then re-apply the lines after the layers of paint are put on.
Inking with watercolors is a VERY time-consuming business.
