I'm okay with that episode. But, does Craig McCracken himself ever want to focus on giving PPG a romantic relationship? Do you ever shipped PPG x RRB just like I shipped?

Sadly,Β Powerpuffs meetup with the Rowdyruff Boys in the future it was created as a fraudulent fan letters Craig McCracken receivedΒ demanding that the PPG and RRB should be canon couples, as that would go against core elements of the show. I really want this to happen.

But, hey. I love Rowdyruff Boys and I thought Craig McCracken has interest into romantic elements in tv shows movies and video games. I shipped PPG x RRB. It'll be like people shipping Wolfy x Red (Tex Avery).

Well, I believe you're wrong. You see, after Craig McCracken left The Powerpuff Girls to work on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Chris Savino took over as showrunner and as the fanboys demanded the Rowdyruff Boys to return, Savino pandered to them and brought them back after a 5-year absense since Season 1, starting with the Season 5 episode 'The Boys are back in Town'.
I don't like the PPG and RRB as couples because it ruins their rivalry.

The Rowdyruff Boys Are Poorly WrittenI don't mean to step on any toes but I'm not holding anything back. The PPG has one of the most entertaining, creative, quirky, and memorable villains gallery I've ever seen in a superhero cartoon.But the Rowdyruff Boys are okay at best, and gimmicky at worst.I mean seriously, I get that their debut episode was really good. But it's actually Mojo who deserves all the credit because he's the one who created them and he's the one who got all the ingredients (snips, snails, puppy dog tails, a filthy toilet). He's also a much better freaking villain!A lot of casual people who enjoyed the Powerpuff Girls have a hard time even remembering their individual names. Funny how it's not hard to remember the other villains' names. If I didn't marathon the show, I would have trouble remembering who is "Brick" "Boomer" and "Butch", myself.So here's why they are weak villains:One-dimensional characterization. You literally can't tell them apart. Especially in their first episode. Brick just... talks the most, and has a scratchy Cartman voice, and he's the leader like Blossom is, but unlike Blossom, there's nothing else that stands out about him. Butch and Boomer are basically just... there? In the background? Who do what Brick says whenever he calls out attacks? In The Boys are Back in Town, they tried to give them more individual personalities but basically all it boiled down to is that Boomer is stupid, Butch is screwy and twitchy, and Brick is more full of himself as well as rude to his brothers. But you could still only describe them with one word descriptors. "Jerk, stupid, crazy". Oh, how deep. (extreme sarcasm) They didn't even keep that characterization. Butch only does that spastic crap in one episode, then just kind of becomes Brick's parrot. Boomer's still stupid though and Brick's still obnoxiously arrogant. But that doesn't exactly endear me to them.Their names suck. I'm telling you, this is why you can't remember their names. The Powerpuff Girls have names that you can easily connect with their personalities. Blossom's name makes complete sense because she's not afraid to be open, express her ideas, be direct, straightforward, and assertive. She's the most outspoken as the leader so her name is perfect. Bubbles is self-explanatory. She's bubbly and cutesy, sometimes fragile (like a bubble, get it?) and most of the time very sweet and joyful. Buttercup's name also makes sense because of her tougher, more tomboy personality while still being girly. Real buttercups are flowers that look pretty on the outside but are poisonous if you eat them fresh. Basically, they can pack a punch. The only RRB name that is clever is Butch, because its meaning is more directly masculine as a counterpart and goes along naturally with Buttercup. But what the hell is Brick? Seriously! What the heck does that say about who the character is or stands for? Boomer is a headscratcher as well, since Boomer isn't exactly some old man born in an older generation, which is how the word is used otherwise.They aren't even that unique. Think about it. In Bubble Boy, they're essentially doing the same things that the Gang Green Gang does, like beating up people, spraying graffiti, causing public and property damage for fun etc, just like our green-skinned delinquents. Except once again, the Gang Green Gang freaking rocks and they came first. The only shtick the boys have is how gross, annoying, and mean they are, even to each other, and how they don't like sissy, baby, lame-o girls. Not exactly breaking new ground here.I'm not making a joke when I say that Ed, Edd 'n Eddy make better counterparts to the Powerpuff Girls than the Rowdyruff Boys because at least they actually have strong, distinguishing personalities that act as a more direct foil.Eddy is also a leader, but unlike Blossom, is amoral, greedy, and selfish, and mostly tries to swindle people for monetary gain. That's what would make him a villain.Ed has a happy-go-lucky, simple-minded personality, similar to Bubbles, but Ed's absent-mindedness goes even farther: he can be easily distracted, easily manipulated, and can become lost in his fantasy world of comic books and science fiction. He is also abnormally strong, acting as the dumb muscle of the group.Double D is a genius who often builds most of the scams with his engineering ingenuity. He's the brain of the group, and like Blossom, wants to respect authority, rules, and order in life, as well as cleanliness, but he has obsessive-compulsive tendencies as well as panic attacks and a proneness to hysteria.See that? Eddy is the heart, Ed is the brawn, Edd is the brain. This is how you create a cohesive group.You know who else makes a better foil to the Powerpuff Girls? Princess Morbucks.She's the same age as them.She wants to be a Powerpuff Girl.But she has a snobbish, materialistic personality that completely clashes with the girls and what they stand for as super heroes, making her a natural antagonist to them.She's also a much better freaking villain. I rest my case.
I'm not bashing you for disagreeing, I'm correcting the false information of your opinion. And there's just no-one worth shipping on this show.
But I respect your opinion one way or the other.

I thought Craig McCracken likes "The Boys are Back in Town". And many fans wrote fan letters and tell Craig that they would like to see PPG and RRB get pair together as couples.Β
