Description
Well it's long time ago I made a meme and I allways wanted to try a certain list. I know not every game need them, but I still think a good game should have some badass boss-fights, so yeah, here it is. My top 10 most favourite Video Game Bosses. SPOILER WARNING!
Rules:
a) I will not choose by difficulty, some of my choices are actual pretty easy to defeat
b) Just one Boss per game, or otherwise it could happen that one game fills half of the list.
c) I will just choose Bosses from games I actual played/ Bosses I actual defeated
So here we go:

Hugh Bliss (Sam and Max Season 1)
For some of you it is may kinda odd to choose to speaking of Boss-fight in a point and click adventure, but for me, they count. First of, I really like the Tell Tale Games about Sam and Max, actual even more than the first game “Hit the road”. But what I like the most of it is the Main-villain of the first Season. Huge Bliss, a swarm of Space Bakteria, disguised as a happy rainbow like Magician, feeding from the happyness of other people. This was seriously a wierd guy, with amazing powers. So for example he tries to kill Sam in the final fight with deadly versions of classic magic tricks.
Hugh Bliss: “Next up: The Number one Magic Trick at every prismatology tortureParty... IT'S TIME TO SEPERATE YOUR BLISS!! Don't worry, this won't hurt a bit. Until the saw hits you. Then you'll die!”
What makes it also great is the background music. A fascinating mix of Mystirious, enchanting and doom. BTW: In the german version (at least in season 1), Huge Bliss has the german voice actor of Ned Flanders from “the Simpsons”, what in my opinion gives this guy a extra creepy factor.

Mecha Sonic (Sonic and Knuckles 3)
So you like Metal-Sonic, huh? Yeah, hes not bad, but personal I prefer Mecha Sonic... no, not because of some Fanmade Sonic/ Mario crossover. Mecha-Sonic is actual one of the reasons that SnK3 is my favourite classic Sonic Game. He has a very badass design, some cool loocking attacks and damn! He can turn into Super-Mecha-Sonic, and thats just with the help of the Master Emerald. Persoanlly I also think he added a little more to the story of the game with his appearance. So yeah, sorry Metal-Sonic fans, but Mecha will allways be the better robo-sonic for me.

Den Mother (Psychonauts)
Psychonauts is clearly a very underrated game. Going with a little guy into other peoples mind, finding secrets or facing mental illness of the victim. If you ask any Psychonaut fan what there favourite Level of the game is, most of them will for sure go for the “The Milkman Conspiracy“
and I agree, with the twisted world design, the very creppy agent guys, and the wierd music it gives a perfect atmosphere for a world full a fake calm- and happyness. Surprisingly this level even has my favourite Boss in the whole game. Den Mother, the Protector of the Milkman. With her little girls and her thrill voice, she it self makes one badass creppy boss. But thats just the half of it. The best comes in the battle when she turns the light of.
Den: “Hope you can see in the dark. Because I CAN! HA HA HA HA!”
In all darkness, you have now to use your ability to see throught the eyes of your enemy, just to see where are you going. This is actual a pretty unique idea for a boss fight, and thats why it is on my list.

King Bulblin (Legand of Zelda, Twillight Princess)
This was a hard decision, cause this game has a lot of great Boss fights, but at the end I decided for King Bulblin, cause he appears more than once, like becoming some kind of nemesis through the game, and anytime you see him, you just wanna kick his ass and is so satisfying if you do.
Also, he has an funny surprise if you defeat him for the last time.

The Hive Mind (Dead Space)
I know this boss is very damn easy, but screw it, I still love him. First he kills the b**ch that betraid us (like in classic drama end of the villain fashion) and the thing is just damn huge, with some cool monster-sounds. And just his presantation, just damn. I don't care if he is too easy, for me he was a perfect ending for a great game. Also has in my opinion one of the best dead scenes in the series.

Hojo (Final Fantasy VII)
No matter what other say, FFVII will allways be my favourite part of the series, and my favourite boss fight will allways be hojo. He is a great example of the classic crazy evil scientist, and it shows its best in the final fight with him. Injecting him self the Jenvoa serum/blood or whatever, the fight simply starts with him and two monster, but after that, he transforms into a monstrous abormination that look like it could come from John Carpenters “the thing”. But he has a second transformation. A smooth mix of Human, snake and what the hell I know, but he looks damn powerfull... and he is. Constantly kicking you ass, causing some nasty status changes. But what really surprise me... well I don't know if it is programmed in the game or if I am just damn lucky, but anytime I fight him, I defeat him in the last second, short before he defeats me. This plus an very creepy but same time very heroic music makes it on big epic boss fight.

Electro (Spiderman shattered Dimensions)
This was a hard choice between him and Hammerhead. But at the end I decided for Electro cause he is what I imagine for a boss-fight: Huge and Powerfull. A great set atmosphere and the way he talks making it just damn epic. Also it has in my opinion, the best joke in the whole game:
Electro: “I HAVE BECOME A BEING OF PURE ENERGY!”
Spiderman: “WITHOUT PANTS!”

Kunino-sagiri (Persona 4)
Persona 4 will allways be my most favourite JRPG, and it has also some very cool boss fights. But my favourite is Kunino-Sagiri, who may has the wierdest character design for a boss I have ever seen. Starting with an very well animated cut-scene, you have to fight a giant-headed Angel, with very googly eyes, with soom strange wheels and who is making piece signs with his hands to attack. It has some badass soundtrack and you have to think how to defeat him. For example he is able to change the atmosphere, which means you have to find out which Attack would make the most damage now, its not allways the same. Also he is able to controll you and your friends for some time, which gives the fight an extra hype, while you try to survive the powerfull attacks of your own friends. Kunino-sagiri, a boss that give the word “One-winged-Angel” a whole new meaning
Kunino-Sagiri: I'm... I'm going to save her!... DON'T INTERFERE!

Malus (Shadow of the colossus)
Shadow of the colossus is an epic game, with a lot of great bosses which are so strong like they are beautifull. But my favourite is the last one, “Malus”. Starting with you crossing a bridge with your horse, with happens to break and your horses falling into the deep, making you loose the only companion in this adventure. Trying to save one life but loosing another while doing so, this plus a dark rainy sky, some sad but mystirious music and the knowledge that so or so, there is no way to turn back now, gives it a very depressing but also so the most emotional atmosphere in the whole game... and then there he is. Malos, litterly a Tower of a Colossus who can zap you with one powerfull attack. Just the size of this thing plus the sad atmosphere making it a heck of an epic boss-fight.

Sisters of Fate (God of War 2)
GoW2 is clearly my favourite of the whole GoW series, and my favourite Bosses are the Sisters of Fate. Being majestic, creepy or just damn ugly, they sure are very powerfull and a heck of a challenge, and are very creative in the way of fighting them. Actual they feel so epic to battle, that anytime I defeat them, i think the game is over now... but nope... there is still Zeus to defeat... not bad but clearly not so awesome like these three. I swear, if the game would have ended after defeating them I would have been totally satisfied. The Sisters of Fate, clearly my number one favourite Boss battle of all.
