Pokémon was my very first anime, and it's the one I still watch on a regular basis. My experience with this show has had its ups and downs. I've been there since the 4kids dub, the switch to TPCi, and long onto discovering the Japanese version. I've seen the fandom grow to amazing heights, and while the anime hasn't always made the best decisions, the heart is always there. This show will be a part of me until the episode that concludes with "The End".
Thank you, Pokémon, for being a part of my childhood.

Nothin', it's a great picture. I'm just not a Team Rocket fan. They deserve harsher retribution for their actions than just being blasted into the sky. I'd kinda like to see them thrown in jail, and kept there for a change.

Pokemon may be out of its golden age(s), but it still serves as an inspirational Japanese cartoon that more or less influenced similar shows (Japanese and otherwise) about fantastical creatures and their loyalty (even though, realistically, I'd oppose the dogfighting aspect of it, but hey! This is just a show/game series).
Ash and Pikachu have had quite a series of adventures in the first 2 decades of their show's run. They've seen many different Pokemon and met and befriended many different companions along the way. Nice pic! Aptly sums up much of the series thus far.
