Description
This is a test colour scheme for an upcoming Forge World and its accompanying Titan Legion and Skitarii using the Thallax as a test model for colour schemes since I didn't want to paint up a Titan. Regardless, they're largely inspired by a mix of the King in Yellow, astral phenomena, some nebulously Middle Eastern influence likely as well but the other influences are yet to really be figured out, so take it with some grain of salt. You can find the current blurb I have on them here and maybe in the future with another accompanying post I'll link their sandbox or a fully done article.

A loyalist Titan Legion of the Collegia Titanica, a military arm of the Adeptus Mechanicus, Legio Mizzakedim was founded before the arrival of the Great Crusade to the Cassilar Despotate and was brought into the fold under the first High Suzerain of Poltergeist where the Legio now calls home. Legio Mizzakedim has a long, storied history in service to the Imperium and in that time have garnered a darkly famed reputation behind only the likes of the traitor Titan Legions or the loyalist Ordo Sinister and its Psi-Titans. The martial culture of this legio is one that spits on the notion of honour and pride as dead things of no value, instead hewing wholly to deeds done, discipline, and the resolve to do anything and everything necessary to secure victory without remorse. Legio Mizzakedim's tally and involvement in the Great Crusade are numerous; serving alongside the Imperial Army with distinction, Tercios of the Solar Auxilia in particular found them to be an especially reliable ally. Several of the Legiones Astartes, among them the Dark Angels, Iron Warriors, White Scars, Death Guard and Raven Guard (likely others too in a more limited capacity) each have fought alongside Legio Mizzakedim at some point during the Great Crusade. Above any other campaign during the Great Crusade, however, Legio Mizzakedim and its associated Titan Guards are most remembered for their involvement in the Rangdan Xenocides alongside the Dark Angels in the Halo Stars.
