The Battlefield Automation Mark 1, commonly referred to internally as the Charlie, was a widely deployed Collection combat droid. Many still survive to this day as a result of their programming accidentally granting a sort of sentience to them early on in the first days of combat, which widely boosted their capabilities, but also made them susceptible to scrutiny concerning the legitimacy of their newfound self-awareness.
