Description

So I did a Looney Tunes binge this week and watched “Cat-Tails for Two” for the very first time (this was the debut of Speedy Gonzales, albeit a different design), which inspired me to create two new OCs!
So, meet Ivy Greenfield and Cindy Miramew! Yes, I know I have a lot of Looney Tunes OC, but these guys aren't going to be in my story “The Looney Life of Bianca Poodle”. I was partially inspired by my DA friend MorganTheMovieGeek97 's OCs Becca and Lena, and also the Chipettes a little bit, to create these guys. I gave them cute little dresses to match the time period of the original shorts. I haven't created an OC duo in a long time, plus, we need a lot more females in the Looney Tunes franchise! (This is partially why I have so many female Hanna-Barbera OCs.) And yes, I now have two OCs named Ivy (my first being Ivy Claus) but that's what I really wanted to name her. So anyway, these two good friends with the rest of the cast (OCs included).

A little more about her: Ivy Greenfield is a small white stray cat who is Cindy Miramew's best friend. She's the hyper one of the two but is still good at figuring things out. It's unknown where she and Cindy came from, but they've been best friends and have been traveling together ever since. Ivy relies on Cindy for everything because she gets too nervous to attempt things herself. Nonetheless, she is making an effort to show Cindy that she is more confident than she appears. She and Cindy are friends with the rest of the Looney Tunes cast as well, even the underrated ones. Specifically the cat characters like George (from “Cat-Tails for Two”) and Benny (from “Hoppy Go Lucky” and “Cat-Tails for Two”) George has a crush on her, but is too tough to admit it (I can imagine him being a “jerk with heart of gold” kind of character if he were in more LT media). She thinks he's a jerk at first but warms up to him after he saves her a few times (getting beat up in the process, of course!) Eventually, she softens him up and changes him for the better.

She dislikes her real name, Lucinda, and prefers to go by Cindy (mostly because Benny struggles to pronounce it correctly). Cindy is the more kindhearted and friendly of the two, always willing to do whatever it takes to help Ivy, who deeply appreciates her. She's also an awful singer. Her yowling drives Ivy crazy but Ivy doesn't have the heart to actually tell her that. One recurring joke is that, due to her excellent eyesight, she has the ability to notice unlikely things that occasionally appear (such as spotting an uneven brick on a building and making a comment about it). Benny (from “Hoppy Go Lucky” and “Cat-Tails for Two”) has a crush on her, and, despite his stupidity, Cindy is more than willing to be his friend. Although sometimes his hugs hurt her a little bit...
