I've been re-reading my Bone books lately, and I think this song from Spongebob fits Phoney so much! He's obsessed with pulling off shady business deals and making money for himself, but he never learns from his past mistakes and keeps trying to pull off scams! Just because he was the former richest Bone in Boneville before getting run out of town, doesn't mean he has to keep pulling off scams. It gets worse in the final book when he actually steals Atheia's treasure. And this song is basically about how Mr. Krabs loves money to the point that being greedy is his whole life.
