Description Monday, April 9th 1917 on an Easter morning, saw the beginning of the battle of Vimy Ridge! All 4 Canadian divisions all present making the it first time. Despite the heavy casualties being around 10,600 with 3,598 dead and 7,004 wounded. The Canadian would successfully take Vimy Ridge on April 12th 1917. To this day Vimy Ridge is seen as battle that let Canada rise as a nation, but lost of life on both sides should never be forgotten.

For those who are wondering why they’re a trench train feature. One of many reasons why the Germans wanted control of Vimy was due to their being a huge rail system around the area + something a bit different since I like to change up my Vimy artworks.
