So, said she wasn't comfortable drawing Basil and Birdie kissing...Β
So I did it.
HA!
And the bruises and shit is because I have a sadistic streak to me, and I absolutely ADORE images of people been through a rough time, going through hardcore adventures and beaten up, only to make up with each other afterwards.

Okay, first of all: YOU ROCK AT KISSING SCENES AND OTHER ROMANTIC FLUFF
It's so perfect I'm gonna die. The way you put emotions in the way they pose and kiss, you possess so much talent that you should burst, really.
How their eyes are closed, it adds so much feeling while it's a simple gesture. But you managed to do so.
Their fur is so soft looking, I just love how some fur of Birdie peeps out of Basil's hand holding her cheek.
Her hairdo is also soooo lovely, with that simple curl ending <3
And Basil's hair is just spot-on! Not sharp ending but roundish, way to goooooo~~
I just adore the way Birdie is tilting her head. And how much of a gentleman Basil is in here.
So tenderly holding each other. You're so good at drawing hands too, let me just say so!
Birdie is reaching for Basil in such sweet way, d'awwww~~
And you gave Birdie some nice curves there, while Basil keeps his slender handsomeness. *stares*
The colouring is so bright and pretty! The coloured lineart is just epic.
It adds so much more depth to the whole piece!
And the hightlights you've added, wow! Just wow.
I love the idea of adding bruises too. It adds an extra dimension of emotions.

WELL, I happen to like drawing kissing-scenes as well as fighting-scenes and bleeding-scenes and sad-scenes and frustrating-scenes and well... all kinds of scenes, and drawing romantic scenarios (WITH BRUISES) with Basil and Birdie is just a pleasure.
