I love how even though it's so obvious they're women, that their appearances still betray their original selves XD Basil still looks witty as ever! I love that you've kept is stature lanky and slender! (and not over accentuated his bustΒ Β ) His clothes are so pretty! and the colors stay true to the original! His Her hair is sooo pretty! A deep chocolate burgundy ~ aaah so preettyy! especially when tied back neatly !

As much as I love sexing up characters, I find it so important that they stay true to their real personas, and in this case it was only the real deal to leave the guys/gals less sexed up, and more... natural.Β
The same reason I didn't want to change Basils head-shape, nor give them an overly-large amount of make-up.
Neat and simple. And designing their outfits was absolutely the best part!

Pffffft sorry this is pretty much the most adorable thing.
I really, really like that Ms. Basil still has that self-assured thing going on. And you've managed to make her feminine while keeping the profile very Jeremy Brett, I can't be the only one that sees it. SO PERFECT.
And Jane. Oh Jane. I can already see her tottering about in that adorable dress, trying to mother everyone. Little Oliver would be clinging to her skirts and everything.

And I'm really happy about Ms. Basil - Janes design came out very naturally and she was pretty much designed even before I drew her, but Basil was a tad more tricky. I wanted to keep her grounded in terms of femininity, but I wanted to keep everything Sherlocky about her. I am beyond excited that you can even see some Brett in her. MAKES MY HEART MELT!
