Digital Painting inspired by Dark Shadows, rendered with CorelยฎPainter XI, using smeary oils brushes, artist pastel brushes and artist canvas texture. I did the digital work on a Mac Dual Core G5 and a Wacom Intuos IV tablet.I got the piece where I wanted it digitally, then printed it on 100% rag paper, then went in with real media artist's pastels to do some fine touches. When I was happy with that, I scanned it back in and dropped it into the Photoshop temlate.

I did it on a Mac dual core g5 with a wacom intuos IV tablet, and used Corel Painter XI. In Painter I used an artist canvas texture I scanned (I do real painting also) and smeary oil and artist pastel chalks. I printed the piece on decent rag paper, did some touch ups with real pastel chalks and some soft brushes, then scanned it back in. The final piece was dropped into Adobe Photoshop to fit the template for the contest.
