Description Seab' makes amends by getting everyone drunk. I can't think of a better way of apologising.

I'm starting to wonder how Faye and Mum's Boy's relationship could go, in spite of the latter being a spineless pile of rags. Mind, they're both technically "deceased", so....why knows?

I'm just enjoying the fun character interactions and creepy stuff mostly

Perhaps Faye felt sorry for him. Those Victorian types love them some wet blankets!

Quite the apology! Love the MB/Faye moments (especially Faye's "grow some" face) and of course that ending legless gag.

Yes, their relationship is a rocky one, but only because of the wedge Mummy Dearest drives between them, which makes them all so fun to write/draw for.

I had a (possibly semi-glurgey) idea that Faye could've died from a broken heart* because he slutyyslutslut sister was exposing her ankles (etc) to Faye's then-fiance. Therefor if MB and her ever get married, Faye will be able to rest in peace and therefor disappear! So without knowing it, Mummy Dearest is actually helping keep her around.

*Well, Victorian ladies were always dying of such things - a fit of the vapours and what-have-you.

Oi loikes that idea I do. Glurge can work when handled correctly.

Gee, I wonder what inspired you for that end panel... Please tell me that's a running joke!! Been enjoying the random appearances of that naughty doggie! Does he always appear randomly like he has been, causing mischief? Heh, he ought to be Seab's dog! Or is he?

Yep, getting your elders drunk is always the best way to make amends!

Eldritch causes trouble, but only accidently. He's a Hell-hound who was banished from Hell for being too nice.

Ah, ok. I just assumed he was a little imp after that last panel, and him getting ready to relieve himself on Douglas earlier.

So, does he belong to anybody?

Not as such, but Seabury might nag his folks to keep him...until he gets bored of having a pet, of course.

Yeah, he'd probably torture the poor thing!

So, he's more of a running gag, his appearance?

TopperHay In reply to Shychick [2012-10-29 20:25:37 +0000 UTC]

Sort of. It's harder to give him things to do as he doesn't talk and more or less a normal doggie, but he's fun to draw. And the Chef needs someone to lose his temper at now and again.

I had an idea of the Doc and Nurse baby-sitting him for an ep' - since Seab' only owns him when he feels like it. Bored. Don't like!

Yeah, Chef basically, 'does a Victor' whenever Eldritch appears. But the dog in this case isn't really naughty, he's lovely. He's just always after a juicy bone and Chef's pretty well stocked in that regard.

I think I'm beginning to see the little details that separates your art and AM's here. Either way, it's an interesting experience.

Fun continuation with this page, the Chef Fibula game made me Well done!

Love the pacing in the panels where Faye gets angry with Mummy's boy.
