So I started this over a month ago, before I even drew prizes for my raffle. I had some downtime so i figured I'd just make a fuck around pic. Decided to draw Angwyn and Galador being the oh most amazing city council duo to ever city council. I figure the conversation when something along the lines of, Galador finds out there's a nest of ghouls that needs to be taken out ASAP, and he's looking for some street cred, Angwyn finds out its near his club so he's got an invested interest, and they argue the entire time and eventually killing happens. Galador's expression comes in because without his glasses he's blind as hell and really can't see what he needs to hit. Normally he makes up for it by just napalming the entire block, but not this time. Angwyn, really could care less about fighting because he's "a lover not a fighter" and if he literally stabbing a hoe, he's doing it in secret. So this would just be a big annoyance for him, and the sooner he can be done the sooner he can make real money.

So, for the pic, note to self, don't decide to COMPLETELY CHANGE how you paint digitally when you're mid project.
I started off in February drawing Galador using Armor tutorial as a tutorial. I loved it and imo it's my best armor to date. I'll be using it more from now on I'm sure. Things were going well and I felt confident. But I put the project on hold while I drew Raffle Prize - Nutra

So while drawing Nutra I discovered 2 things. 1. I should always start with the background first and 2. Marco Bucci is a G.
So I went into this, only wanting to do the background for now, just to get a bit more ahead of the game. I applied my new techniques and realized....Galador's colors were off in comparison to the background. Sooooo I did quite a bit of editing to get him to fit. I left Angwyn for later because I was on to my next raffle pic.

So I drew Raffle - Salem and completely changed what brushes I use and how I shade things and also changed around my methods for how I go about things. Then I come back to this pic and I'm like..fuck, can't remember where the lighting was. Normally I do a sort of test, where I put in basic shading, just abstract, with maybe an arrow showing where I'm putting the light. Did I do that??? FUCK NO. Goddamnit me. So while cursing my own name I started on Angwyn. The original lineart was TERRIBLE so I redid it. Then I messed up the proportions on the face and redid THAT. Was such an uphill battle.

But I feel I was able to pull it together and make it pretty coherent, especially considering it was just a little mess around project to do in between other, more important stuff. And I was really able to use it to mess around with some new techniques that I've been learning and take it from "I just learned this" to "I'm putting this to muscle memory"
