This is so great! I love the sheer fabric! So sexy! And I love that you gave her the coloring she had in the movie! So very wonderful!!!

thank you when I look at it now, I can see there are so many problems with that sheer fabric but I still adore her skin print!

Sheer fabric, oooooh the agony of it! I think it looks great here though. You seem to have the same issue with it that I do. Getting the right amount of skin tone, or whatever is behind it, to show through while still hinting at the color of the fabric. Oh, why does it have to be so difficult?! But I still adore this coloring! So beautiful and what you did with her body coloring is just terrific!

stupid fabric I also hate the folds! it's so difficult! should you make it darker or not? should there be more see trough or not?! I hate it

but I still love the outcome!

Oh I adore the outcome! But yes, everything you said is true! And it doesn't matter if I use a reference for it or not, it still never looks the same! My problem is that the colors blend too much. I want it to look like two separate objects overlapping, not one blending into the other! I could rant about this all day! But yes, it's still a stunning coloring of yours!

I guess it's even harder with pencils but you do it really well!

Chalaya In reply to Torenganger [2011-02-03 05:44:29 +0000 UTC]

I don't know about it being harder, but it just takes so long. I'm kind of lazy because backgrounds take a long time and when I finish coloring the character I just want to get it posted. I guess I'm actually more impatient than lazy.

than I've got a solution for you upload a WIP! that would be great

I'm a computer idiot. What does a WIP do? (it's okay if you laugh at me...lol)

Torenganger In reply to Chalaya [2011-02-06 13:04:37 +0000 UTC]

WIP is a Work In Progress so you can upload a picture a few times, you only mention it's a WIP. that means you can finish a character, post it as WIP and work further on the background! and post it again

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Chalaya In reply to Torenganger [2011-02-10 02:25:05 +0000 UTC]

Oh! I don't know how to get that. That's a really neat program!

Torenganger In reply to Chalaya [2011-02-10 13:05:43 +0000 UTC]

it's not a program you silly it's just something like... a dubble post you scan your image when you colored the character, post it on DA and put WIP in the title when you've finished the background too, you scan it again and post it again, but without the WIP

everybody on DA does it, check it out!

Oh! I see!! Yes, I'm silly! lol! I'll remember that. I may do that sometime! That's pretty funny that I thought it was a program! LoL! XD

This is genius ! Pure genius! The coloring is just perfect for the lineart !

My favourite part is the skin. I love that it's inbetween skin and fur.
