The Heaven and Earth Saga, Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia/Time and Terranigma, lots of memories there..... and there is something that allways bugged my soul, the death of Aries, the goat in himalaya where Ark awakens humankind, all to show the player how cruel nature and reality is I presume, poor creature, if only there was a way to free her . I think Nintendo must do a remake with better sprites, not 3D cuz allways they do a remake in 3D most of time or the game sucks or they change story (like another of the games I love, Lufia/Estpolis 2) , maybe a Heaven and Earth Saga compilation or something

I only played IoG/T and Terranigma, missed Soul Blazer ;w; ! but i always found those game very deeply sad : ( i remember Terranigma really made me sad, more than IoT, maybe because you build sooo many things, and then you lost them piece by piece...
IoT is maybe too short, and there is surely too much things i don't understood, when i was young, also i found it hard, and made me struggle X3
but i loved terranigma, because, even if very sad, it wasn't hard to play, was really comfortable, and i think had more feeling while playing it, because it wasn't too difficult to play ...
Dunno if i'm clear, but haw, this game <3
I would have seen a remake, i think, maybe with graphism like the last story! ^^ but i guess nothing would worth the original : )
(and i need to play Lufiaa, everyone speaking abouut!)

Hehe SoM is a wonderfull game, never played LoM though ^^
When i was kid i had both SoM and terranigma, and terranigma was just.. i dunno how to explain but, yeah, by far my favorite, i love SoM too! but just terranigma touched me more^^
Also it wasn't released in US from what i know, so... it's why the game don't had the same sucess, and don't have still now the same place in the game culture than SoM, and it's too bad, because it's a really wonderfull game^^.

yeah.. it was so sad...it was like "we don't understand you anymore" and i felt ..lonely, really lonely.
It may sound stupid, but during my childhood i don't had much friend, videogame offered me some experience and adventure, and this one was really strong..
When i think about still now, the little bird who helped you to travel and with who you can't speak anymore, it still make me sad to think of him..

This brings back so many memories. Back then I was pretty frustrated when one of the NPC's talked about the king of birds being imprisoned and I couldn't find out how to free him for the hell of it. XD
But still one of the best games for the SNES. It's so sad they never made the rumored second part.

i'm very happy this bring some memories back ;w; !
Thank you !
I remembered i was very amused when i seen this bird first time, then i think i understood he couldn't fly anymore, and i think it make me sad, also he looked so worried.. damn pixel ;;
I never heard about the rumored second part! but in fact, i feel glad about how it ended, i think any second part would have disapointed me. It's ended just right, deeply sad, but it was needed, the game was dark and sad, couldn't expect any happy end, or even "anything" after the end...
But i would have loved to see quintet doing game over the years and still now, they was really an amazing and powerfull team ^^.

Yep, but than you have to wonder, how did he get down and -more importantly- back up from the high plateau Ark first met him? ;D
It really was a sad game and though it was probably that memorable because of the way they build the story I always feeled a little unsatisfied after the credits rolled.
I mean you rebuild a whole world from skratch, died once, got resurrected, learned that you were nothing more that a puppet from the start and when you finally beat the last big bad boss in the end it's "You will vanish anyway but don't worry all your friends are probably dead as well. Oh and while we are at it, have a taste of all the things you will never experience".
Maybe that's why I would have liked to see a second part or at least a glim of things going a bit better at the end. (You might be right that any other end would have spoiled the story but still I'm a sucker for hopeful endings. ^^V)

Haw this a difficult question °ç° i have no idea, but haw, just poorrr birdyyy X3!
Hopefull ending are great sometime, especially because this game was sad, was really sad, it was rude, and hard, and sad, and at the end, you couldn't expect something else than happiness, because you waited it!
I mean (and it's a spoil for anyone who maybe read this comment and never played)
When you let Dheni and kalou (fyda/royd) on this airship... you just hope you'll see them again, because they can't die, they good people, they full of good, they can't die.
And even if you never sure they died... you never have any hope.
This make this game so rude to play somehow, and when you kid, you can't forget it, it's like a rude experience, the most magical experience of create and give life the world, to the plant, the animal, the human, but then little by little you lost everything, the magic become something terrible, human kill, human die, animal and plant can't share with you words and feelings, you make your friends sad, you create a monster (Yvan) and at the end,you lost everything you trusted (the kindness of celina/elle who told you she wanted kill you when you was kid) you lost your body, you lost yourself.
And everything lost forever...
And yeah this make the game something more than "just a game", it make it the most wonderfull game ever, but the most horrible to ge through too, at least when you a kid, who don't know what is death, or such terrible things.

Both. I learned a bit of french back in school (though understanding it was always easier than speaking -_-).
But I guess most people who aren't french wouldn't bother to translate it, so it should be perfect to keep the spoilers save as well. XD

I say that because i'm french so would have been such a coincidence if you was speaking french ^^ (some french people may pass here, but i doubt the google trad make them understand the spoiler xD)

It's that bad? Oh god! -_-
Guess that's what happens if you don't speak a language for like five years. XD
(Also I believe, Google translate might have created a more accurate -or understandable- version the software's quite advanced this days)
