Everyone has creative blocks, and it can be so frustrating when this happens. Sometimes I can't think of a single idea or my work just plain stinks. It is a great feeling to create art that works for me. I realize not everyone will think It's good, and that's okay. When I'm on a roll I'm so happy, and it feels so good, and in the end all that matters is that I like my work.I love Danilo Lejardi's translation of my work. Thank you, Danilo

You captured it! The "it" of having the desire and need to create and NOTHING happens. I have done this way too many times.
I stand in front of a blank canvas and stare at it--nothing--in desperation I throw some paint on that desert of white and
stir the paint around looking for vision in the muddled pigment. If that does not work--
I off to the local pub looking for a muse
While peering at the bottom of a pint
seeking inspiration
I see the vision, I feel the emotion, I hear the story----I move the paint around
