Also here we the first sort of alignment or "faction" symbol- the molten rod coming from the ground symbolizes ruin! Ruin is a world phase in Lyth and will come around sometime later but just wanted to put that out there.
The rod can be summoned from the ground at any time and when inactive, returns to the ground as poisonous soil. Lythians who wield these rods are followers of the god of Ruin. It doesn't work well as a weapon as it is always attached to the ground and works more for intimidation than anything.
