Special Containment Procedures: SCP-745-Alpha instances are to be contained within a reinforced, soundproofed containment chamber equipped with motion sensors and reinforced steel walls. Under no circumstances should SCP-745-Alpha instances be allowed to come into contact with each other. Any unauthorized personnel approaching SCP-745-Alpha containment chambers are to be terminated immediately.
SCP-745-Alpha containment chambers are to be monitored at all times via CCTV. Any instance of SCP-745-Alpha exhibiting unusual behavior or attempting to breach containment must be reported immediately to Site Security.
Description: SCP-745-Alpha refers to a phenomenon involving SCP-745 instances when two of them move at high speeds, comparable to that of an average car, and are about to collide head-on with another vehicle. Upon reaching a critical velocity threshold, the two SCP-745 instances undergo a rapid transformation into a single entity resembling an average automobile, hereby referred to as SCP-745-Alpha.
SCP-745-Alpha instances appear to be composed of materials typically found in conventional automobiles, such as steel, glass, plastic, and rubber. Despite this transformation, SCP-745-Alpha instances retain the sentience and predatory instincts of their original SCP-745 form. They demonstrate the ability to operate independently and actively seek out potential prey.
When SCP-745-Alpha instances encounter a vehicle, they exhibit aggressive behavior similar to their bipedal counterparts. They will attempt to ram the target vehicle head-on with considerable force, often resulting in severe damage or destruction of both vehicles. SCP-745-Alpha instances display a preference for targeting solitary vehicles on highways, much like their original form.
Efforts to terminate SCP-745-Alpha instances have proven difficult due to their durability and aggressive nature. Traditional firearms and containment protocols are often ineffective, necessitating the use of specialized equipment and containment measures.
